Town discovering its rich history,
fascinating architecture and varied
anecdotes.
All this as we visit a handful of
character-filled pubs, which should make for an
intoxicating evening! We will finish at the
Minerva, one of the most historic pubs in Hull
with plentiful eating establishments in the
immediate area alongside Hull’s Marina.
As this is a Saturday night, we haven’t been
able to organise a buffet as we did for the
similar events at the British. We also need to
start early – 18.30.
For anyone whose game is not finished by then
there will be a second departure at 18.45 (where
we will catch up the main party). Numbers
limited to 25. There is a fee of £5, but we will
give you (most) of this back by buying your
first drink.
Prince of Wales Suite, Royal Hull Hotel

An opportunity to meet and chat with the players
in the GM norm event over a glass of wine (or a
soft drink, or a pint from the bar) and some
‘nibbles’ in the Prince of Wales Suite, Royal
Hull Hotel.
The Meet the Masters Event is timed to allow
anyone doing the pub walk to attend. The pub
walk finishes at the Minerva which is
approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the Royal
Hull Hotel. Numbers limited to 40. There is a
fee of £5 to help cover the costs of drinks etc.
