The submission of an entry form
and payment of the entry fee denotes acceptance
that the 4NCL’s decision is final in all
matters.
The 4NCL reserves the right to
refuse any entry without explanation.
No player may win more than one
prize. All place prize money will be shared
equally between tied players.
The best performance prize will be awarded to
the player with the best performance relative to
their assigned rating (W-We).
Players for whom it has not been possible to
assign a rating may not win a performance prize
Prizes will be paid by
direct bank transfer and/or entry fee refund
in the week following the end of the event
unless otherwise notified.
The 4NCL will ensure its
advertised prize fund is realistic based on an
expected number of entries. Should the number of
entries fall significantly below this
expectation, it may be necessary to reduce the
prize fund. Where possible, any such decision
will be notified to entrants beforehand.

There is an additional pay to play fee for non-ECF
members or Bronze-level ECF members of £15.00 (juniors £6.00).
Entrants who are not under 18 years of
age on Friday 6 September 2024 should pay the
£15.00 adult pay to play fee. |

For FIDE rated sections, all players who do
not want to be registered as ENG must be
registered with another federation BEFORE
playing.
Pairings in all sections will be
according to FIDE Swiss pairing rules, using the
Swiss Manager computer program.

Re-pairing will take place 30
minutes after the start of a round. Players will
be defaulted 30 minutes after the scheduled
start of a round.

congress they will be entitled to a refund of
their entry fee less a £5 administration charge.
The 4NCL
Anti-Cheating Policy will apply in this
event.
Prizes may be changed subject to
numbers of entries.
The 4NCL reserves the right to
transfer players between sections at any time.
All pairings will be made using
FIDE Swiss pairing rules using Swiss Manager.
All games will be played using
digital clocks.
